Kirsten Madden - Board Chairperson

Kirsten Madden brings both professional leadership and deep community roots to her role as Chairperson of the Board for Boundary Ambulance. A lifelong resident of Boundary County, Kirsten served as a volunteer EMT-Basic for more than a decade, providing hands-on care to her neighbors and building a lasting connection to the mission of Boundary Ambulance.

Today, as Chairperson, she remains dedicated to supporting the growth and sustainability of high-quality emergency medical services in our region. Kirsten's background in real estate and business ownership has helped guide strategic planning and community engagement efforts, while her years in the field give her a grounded understanding of the challenges and importance of rural EMS.

Kirsten is passionate about serving her community, both on and off the ambulance board. She continues to volunteer with local organizations and advocates for strong public services in Boundary County.

Kirsten’s commitment is to ensuring Boundary Ambulance remains a trusted, responsive, and well-supported service for our rural community. She works to strengthen partnerships, support the dedicated staff and volunteers, and ensure that every resident has access to timely, skilled, and compassionate emergency care.

Ty Iverson-Board Member

Ty Iverson was born and raised in Bonners Ferry. After graduating high school, he moved away for a few years to attend the University of Idaho, where he earned a degree in Agricultural Economics. This led to a job as an Agriculture Lobbyist in Boise for a few years, before eventually moving back to Bonners Ferry to manage his family's farming operation.

Ty and his family currently farm around 3,000 acres of farmland scattered throughout Boundary County. They raise wheat, barley, canola, mustard, hay, and grass seed. Ty currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Idaho Grain Producers Association, as well as a board member of the National Association of Wheat Growers.

Ty's wife Lisa is the Principal at Mount Hall Elementary School, where their son Colton is currently enrolled in Kindergarten. In their free time, the Iversons enjoy boating and camping in the outdoors of northern Idaho.
